Spitfire Bearded Dragons reserves the right to refuse a sale to anyone, for any reason. The terms and conditions below are subject to change at any time when necessary.
We guarantee the health of your dragon for 14 days after you receive it. However, this guarantee only applies if you have provided proper care as outlined in our Care Sheet. It is expected you have researched proper care and have cage set up correctly before the animal arrives. We may request photo of your animal’s enclosure, as well as other information if a health issue arises. If you have or have had other reptiles, it is important you quarantine any new animal you purchase for at least 2 months. That means your new dragon should not share housing, food, feeding tubs, or bathing tubs with any other reptile until you are confident that you have no health concerns whatsoever with it. Please notify us as soon as possible if you are worried your animal does have a health issue or you have any other concerns. We want to help you solve any problems and working on it quickly is very important.
We ship using Reptiles2you through FedEx Priority Overnight. We guarantee your dragon will arrive alive, but only if it is delivered on the first attempt. You must notify us in advance if you won’t be home to accept your dragon, so we can ship to a FedEx location near you. In the extremely rare event of a delivery problem resulting in a deceased animal, you must contact us within 30 minutes of time stamp from your scanned delivery, and provide written details, as well as photos and/or videos of the shipping box and the animal, also within 30 minutes. You must not remove or dispose of the deceased animal or the original shipping and packaging materials until you have contacted us, we have received all necessary information, and we have said it is alright to do so. If the conditions above are not met, your guarantee is void and we will not be held responsible for replacing your animal or refunding your money. If we decide temperatures will be too hot or cold at any point of travel, we will not ship until it is safer for your dragon to travel. If there are major weather events, we reserve the right to refuse shipment until conditions improve.
We strive to provide accurate information including gender, genetics, and temperament, as well as any defects like tail nips or bites. However, we do not guarantee color, appearance, gender, size, structure, or ability to breed. We reserve the right to withhold parent pictures, but we will provide the genetics of the parents. We try to show our dragons accurately in all our pictures, and never use photo enhancement of any kind. It is important to understand that they only look their best when they have been in optimal conditions, and are not feeling stressed, for a number of days or weeks. Please ensure their cage is set up as well as possible, including checking for correct temperatures. If you have a glass cage, your bearded dragon may need 3 sides covered in paper before they begin to feel less stressed and look their best.
All sales are final. If you cancel an order before the dragon is shipped, your purchase price will be applied to a future purchase. Under special circumstances, and solely at our discretion, an exchange or refund may be offered after you have received your dragon. Shipping charges will not be refunded, however, and the customer must ship the animal back at their expense within 24 hours using the same shipping method. Dragons that have not been quarantined properly upon arrival, as described above, are not eligible for returns.
